This is lighter-bodied food wine, shows brighter, higher toned fruit, maybe a bit candied and some zest? Solid pizza wine, this paired great with a dish of roasted broccolini, beans, and burrata that had a bit of hot pepper flake in it. |

Light intensity bouquet of dark berry and rich perfume. Very nice tactile grip of acidity with sincere Grenache flavors and gentle tannins. Light to medium body and finish. Another Wind Gap winner in the cool-climate category. Jay Hack’s review from 5 years ago is still accurate (and entertaining) 4+11+17+8= 90 |
