6/24/2023 - P.Graff Does not like this wine: 80 pointsPurple-ish red. More tobacco ( sigarette butt ) than fruit on the nose, some cherry. Palate: cherry, maybe some blackberry, and alcohol. Acidic and dry, seems unbalanced. Not my cup of proverbial chai latte, but of course we finished the bottle with some snacks and two episodes of tv drama. (I won the bottle, wont buy it myself) |

Cooked strawberry, black cherry, plum, Sweet Tarts/Smarties, well worn leather, oak, wet earth, dried herbs (rosemary, basil, and others), cinnamon. Tart red fruit and dried herbs on the palate. Medium acidity lends an initial brightness that transitions to well integrated fine grained persistent tannins. Tart cranberry and pepper on a moderately lingering finish. |
