The most elegant expression of a Durif I have come across. Very nice with Lamb cutlets. Still somewhat closed up and should benefit from further cellaring. I have pulled my other 2 bottles to the back of the rack to forget about them for another few years. |

Even after 15 years, still very intense dark fruit, which carries the vanilla/wood aromas with grace and ease. Unfortunately quite alcoholic in the end. Opened up nicely after leaving it open for a day. It's probably as good as it gets. I wouldn't be in a rush, but drink it up over the next 2 years, if cellaring conditions were good. |

Drinking very nicely now. Would probably drink up in the next year or so, while there is still some nice primary fruit present to counterbalance earth, Alkohol and acidity. Very nice wine indeed. |
