12/25/2017 - Djwpar3 Likes this wine: 89 pointsGood fruit forward wine, cherries. Not too complicated, not a long finish. I did not let this aerate enough, will with the next bottle. I think it would have brought the fruit more into focus. Not bad for the price. Not sure if I will buy more, there are many Shiraz available around this price point. |

5/21/2015 - Nicholas81 wrote: 89 pointsDrank from 375ml. A deep orangey brown colour. Nose was full of orange peel with some apricot and caramel with some slight petrol aromas. The palate was not too sweet with a rather syrupy and broad, luxurious mouthfeel. Flavours of peach, apricots and creme brûlée came to the fore. The finish was slightly short. |

Well balanced with nice orange marmalade acidity. Long finish. This is in a perfect place. Delicious wine for the tariff. |

9/1/2013 - guitarguy wrote: 92 pointsMy bottles say Beresford Reserve by Step Rd Winery with a different label than shown here. At this point, the wine is fine, displaying a honeyed, nectar nose with Botrytised notes. Flavors of honey, orange marmalade, sweet, smoky botrytis and a finish that continues for several minutes. Perhaps displays hints of cough syrup from a high ester level in the wine |

6/4/2013 - bechi Likes this wine: 89 pointsDeep, opaque purple with a sweet, heady nose of brambles black fruit. Didn't find much in the way of oaky tannins, but found this wine rich and jammy, not off-puttingly sweet, with a nice backbone of spice. Great QPR in my book. Should hold well for a few years at least. |

9/5/2012 - guitarguy wrote: 91 pointsMy bottles are actually labeled Beresford Reseve. Apricot nose rises from the glass with hints of orange peel, the wine has well integrated sweetness framed by apricot, orange peel and marmalade notes. Long finish but perhaps just a tad of alcoholic heat on the finish. |
