Nellie likes it and so do I. A very unique flavor. Light, with red fruit flavors like a Pinot Noir, but a very different flavor profile to the Pinots I've had. If you can find, it try it. Decant it for about 30 minutes and serve it slightly chilled (about 60 °F) |

Vernaca Rossa is what they call it but its not connected to regular Vernaca. Vernaca apparently actually means "local" in the dialect. Flavor and fresh. A little bit of cloves, strawberries, fresh and fun. Wife is from Provance and she has some influence here of making the wine a little bit lighter in style. Cryomaceration if I got that right. Strawberry but a little bit salty as well. 20 - 45 year old vines. |

The acidity is fresh and lively, the flavors are zesty and refreshing citrus and there is better texture and mouthfeel than wines at this price would normally be expected to have.Cooked with some and enjoyed a glass while doing so. |

Interesting nose notes.. some woodsy and something else very distinctive but hard to identify .. maybe pomegranate ? Definitely pleasant . On the tongue , mild flavors of plum, strawberry and sage. Nice finish . Would recommend for someone who wants a unique tasting experience |

8/6/2022 - oldwines Likes this wine: 90 pointsLight pale yellow color. Nose has light white floral notes and some distinct lychee and other tropical fruit. Palate has bright acidity and a more sappy slightly dense texture than the color would indicate. There are a lot of flavors here if you give it some time/air. I get lime, herbal notes like tarragon, pineapple, more of the lychee and even some yellow apple. Finish is quite long. This is wine it could be easy to dismiss but I found my self more impressed the more time I spent with it and the more I gave it serious consideration. Great QPR. Well done for a lesser known varietal from the Marche. 89-90+ |

On the first night, strong, complex floral notes on the nose (peony), with ripe cherry and raspberry fruit and some minerality. The floral nose reminds us of the Fosso della Rosa. Light/medium bodied in the mouth, with initial bright fruit and some earthy, ferrous notes; the wine ends very tannic without being overkill. The nose and the taste are surprisingly different, but both are delightful. |
