Very good complexity (as expected from a Grand Cru), a bit rounder and more spicy (from the oak treatment) than most of the Chablis 1er Cru that I have had (which were leaner and more angular). Still a very balanced wine, with very good acidity. Very enjoyable, both with and without food. Took to Altro Paradiso (ouch on the $75 corkage). |

On the nose, subtle wood spice, floral-driven, white & yellow fresh tropical fruit nuances, lemon balm, hint of apricot in the background. Medium+-bodied palate, ample complexity with well-integrated acidity, malo-driven roundness while being crystal clear. Fine fruit concentration with deep flavours echoing nose - peach & melon, salty-lemon lingering finish. Ageworthy! |

I think it might be. Longish finish on not-overwhelming acidity but enough to play great with oysters and clams on the halfshell. YUM. |
