Nice midweight red with great acidity and juiceyness. Blackberry with some sweetness on the nose. Palate of red fruit and spice. Much more acidity than tannin which creates the ‘juicyness’. Enjoyable wine.

De color ámbar pálido tiene una nariz perfumada, con notas de frutos secos, sensaciones licorosas, toques de barniz,.... En boca resulta seco, pasa fluido pero con sensación de materia, franco, con notable profundidad. Muy bueno.

Picota de buena capa. Mucha y muy buena fruta, sobre todo negra, aunque también hay un fondo tostado y algún matiz especiado. En boca tiene buena entrada, cuerpo medio, tanino firme, con alguna astringencia, bien de acidez, estructura media y persistencia media/alta.

The name means "It is an apple". It is a mistela-style blend (aka. vin de liqueur) of Grenache (42%), apple juice (42%), distilled grape alcohol (4%) and distilled apple alcohol (4%). 15,5% alcohol, 95 g/l residual sugar.

Luminous, pale peachy orange color. Fresh, juicy and quite attractive nose with aromas of honey, lemon marmalade, some cloudberry jam, a little bit of apple juice and a boozy hint of grappa. The wine is sweet, rich and oily on the palate with nuanced flavors of apple compote and apple marmalade, some Asian spices, light anise tones, a little bit of grappa, hints of apple peel bitterness and a touch of overripe, bruised apples. Overall the wine tastes quite warm, but also pleasantly balanced, thanks to the good acidity. The finish is warm, rich and somewhat spicy with nuanced flavors of exotic spices, anise, some grappa, a little bit of stony minerality, light hints of overripe apples and apple compote and a touch of star fruits. There seems to be a subtle tug of tannins towards the end of the aftertaste.

A nice, rich and characterful fortified wine of sorts where the apple characteristics nicely come to the fore, yet they do not dominate. There seems to be a lot of things going on here, showing how the wine is more than just the sum of its parts. The somewhat boozy distilled alcohol character bugs me a little bit, but not that much, fortunately. It might age away with enough cellaring, but I have no idea whether a wine like this will age gracefully or just fall apart. All in all, fun and tasty stuff.

A 50/50 blend of Garnacha and Garnacha Blanca sourced from 80 years old plots, made from a solera system started in 2006. This bottle says "L013, so most likely the wine is bottled in 2013. 120 g/l residual sugar, 15,5% alcohol.

Somewhat cloudy orange-tinted mahogany color. Slightly restrained and moderately oxidative nose with aromas of chopped nuts, sweet baked apple, some woolly notes, a little bit of syrupy molasses, hints of raisins and a oaky touch of vanilla. The wine is sweet, robust and rather oxidative on the palate with sweet oaky flavors of caramel and vanilla, roasted exotic spices, syrupy molasses, some almond paste, a little bit of chopped nuts and a hint of bruised apple. The wine is moderately high in acidity, keeping the balance well in check. The finish is sweet, somewhat sticky and quite oak-driven with intense flavors of vanilla, bruised apples, toasty oak spice, light syrupy tones, a little bit of raisins and oxidative hints of nuttiness and sorrel. The aftertaste is quite warm, rich and somewhat sticky.

A pleasant, rich and quite balanced fortified wine with nicely oxidative character, somewhat reminiscent more of Madeira or Oloroso Sherry than Tawny Port. However, the wine feels like the solera system was based on new oak barrels, because the wine is pretty much dominated by quite pronounced new oak characteristics. Most likely the wine will keep a long time in a cellar because of how oxidative it is already now, but I have no idea if the wine will ever lose its new oak characteristics. Good stuff, but I would've preferred a version with less obtrusive oak character. Perhaps a bit pricey at 20€ for a half-liter bottle.

Picota de buena capa con ribete púrpura. Nariz expresiva, fresca, juvenil, con fruta negra y roja crujientes, algún matiz especiado, recuerdos a regaliz negra, toques de bosque umbrío. En boca tiene buen ataque, pasa fluido pero con sensación de materia, tanino muy fino y bien integrado en el conjunto, buena acidez, estructura media y notable longitud. Muy buena fruta.

This is a sweet wine made by a method which is called mistella. This is a blend of white wine and apple juice. Very fruity with pineapple, mango, apples and honey melon on the tongue. Acidity in check. Very fresh and crisp wine. Unlike anything I've tasted until now.

Tannins are pronounced, oak is much more evident than in the Llopart. Earthy tones. Some burned notes were registered. Not much fruit in this one. In the aftertaste there was mentioned tar, blue cheese (stilton).

Expecting some very light wine considering the aromas we were in for a surprise as the wine was complex and powerful with balanced tannins. There were also some sweet notes, caramel most pronounced.

The bouquet, on the other hand, was reminiscent of chablis with butter, citrus, shisha on the nose. In the mouth it had just a hint of sweetness, there were also spices and the acidity was in check. Probably good with food. For me the best of the three Microvins*

Not as pronounced bouquet as in the acacia version. However, we found white flowers, shisha and caster sugar on the nose. The chestnut is evident both on the palate and in the bouquet. Also spicy tones on the tongue. Soft tannins.

The palate is even more complex woth layers of ripe fruit, oak, creamy feeling, well structured and balanced. Very good wine; first time I have ever tried a carignan blanc and that was a very enjoyable experience. 90-91

After one year waiting to be opened, it was a good surprise. It is a very solid, consistent wine. Well balanced with delicious aromas of black fruits, especially dried black plum, typical of a sweet usually consumed in Brasil, the Manjar. With medium body and a pleasure finish, this was the best relation cost/benefit that I drank this year (if you think about the prices practiced in Brasil, of course ;)
