5/20/2017 - Pancreatitis Likes this wine: 95 pointsVery red fruited and primary, a real everything and nothing wine, smoke, cherries, raspberries, rose, violets encapsulated in a limestone mineralite, after an hour a very refined animale creeps in, with some humus and forest floor. Quite weightless on the palate, with a greater intensity on the nose. Incredibly long. Very good acidity and background gentle tannin, this has some years ahead of it yet. To be so young at 30 years of age and give such a great expression terroir is really a great achievement in such a tricky year. |

10/13/2016 - Charlie Carnes Does not like this wine: 79 pointsThis was quite disappointing. Thr fruit was very "dried" out with some slight harshness kind of everywhere. My short note said "pedestrian, dried out, and boring". Reminded me of a dried out light bodied cabernet in one of those overrated "critics'" years. Its old enough to where it will never turn into anything. |

1/11/2014 - Love4Vino Likes this wine: NRA wonderful showing from a tough vintage. Drank with my daughter for her 21st birthday. Fruit is fading but is was enjoyable. Sour cherry notes on the nose and palate with bright acidity. Went well with food. |
