Nose: Candied cherry/strawberry and sweet spices. Smells like a mulled wine.
Palate: Mixed berry compote with baking spice. Medium tannin, low acid, medicinal bitterness in the finish, and an aftertaste of tomato paste. Pretty yeasty as well, like raw bread dough.

Full body, deep crimson to purple colour. Intense, red fruits' forward aroma complemented by flowers and tobacco. Dried plum and black cherry palate, juicy acidity, silky tannins and a bit earthy finish of good length. Rich, saturated and complex enough, don't lose balance despite a high alcohol level. Food friendly, well pairing to chimichurri rice. Don't cool it too much, serve 18ºC - 20ºC. Open two hours ahead. Drink now while young and the next 5/6 years.

cut the green wax ...second pour its reallly clean, supple and packed with phenols, cool....HOWEVER it's 13.9% some weight really slowing its style down ...chesnut, blue fruit, sugary rosemary/cranberry...funk blew off its sweeter now still....

little over half the bottle day 2... ...nose is splendid.... seriously, the flavors are really pure like you crushed a handful of fresh berries, candied sweet cherry juice,lots of dark cherry bubblegum, unmistakable notes of pear juice?! blackberry taffy lots of energy...so smooth glou glouish nearly, soft now compared to early yesterday....

sometimes i think about wine in that place known in the past as "eden" it probably would be quite fresh and without sulfites, not pulled from a crypt after 10 years...

the execution here on non sulphite wine is impressive pour it blind after 12hr decant , my last geuss would be malbec

Deep purple colour.

Medium intensity on the nose with ripe blackcurrant and black plum.

Medium intensity on the palate with same flavours as the nose. Medium plus acidity, high tannin, medium plus body, high alcohol, medium finish.

Decent, well balanced fruit driven wine with good length and intensity.

Drinking quite well right now. Soft tannins, rustic floral nose and full on the palate. A nice balance of old and new world style.

Dark purple in color with a short purplish rim.

This is a simple red blend from Mendoza, Argentina. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food.

Noir foncé. Fruité intense. Du costaud. La bouche est tout aussi intense avec du fruit très mûr. Toasté et riche. Tanins fondus.
C’est original et je ne reconnais pas le malbec.

I like torrontes more than most folks, but this just wasn’t going it for me. This was quite oxidative in style, which seemed a waste of the wine’s natural florality. An interesting experiment, but not one I’d buy again.

The label shows this as Santa Julia Malbec Plus [+] but there seems to be some confusion between the different Santa Julia Malbec variants shown on a CT search list. I have added a photo of the label on this 2022 bottle.
A good sweet fruity nose with vanilla from the oak. It was approachable from the off but I found it much better next day when it showed attractive, soft, sweet mainly dark cherry fruit with hints of spice and some dark plums/prunes later. Balanced acidity and tannins make it food-friendly but it is also good on its own, even at this young age.
Not a great Malbec but an enjoyable, straightforward example to suit bbq meats nicely. Just the sort of Malbec we have enjoyed in Mendoza in a simple restaurant with a great rare steak. Very good value on offer in UK (ca. £7).
