dark fruits, tobacco, oak, dry herbals, ripe, chalky and savoury tannins, dry palate, m+ bodied, well structured and weighted, but quite rustic. it's impressive how good a China red blend can be.

Surprise! Better than expected. Purchased from winery in Yantai while visiting China. Decanted for 1 hr. Initial nose: wet hay, leather. Not overpowering. Notes of red berries, pomegranate, cranberry. Very smooth after the decant.

Located in the Miyun District of Beijing. Rather odd nose - a bit like saké. On the palate rather sweet and bland. There still is some work to do here.
