This needs time. Flavor profile wasn't my favorite, but I think with a few years it might be more enjoyable. Definitely not full throttle Napa cab - much more restrained.

Reassuringly Californian in style. Some oak but in a good way with sour cherry. Worked really well with hoi sin duck. Developed savoury notes towards the end of the bottle which was really nice. Will leave the last bottle for another year and give it a couple of hours decant.

Medium gold. It smells like apples, minerals, quince and oak. Intense. It’s bone dry an as tastes like apples and minerals. Extremely good, but maybe less than expected from some reviews. Enjoyed with bread, cheese, pate and sardines. Nice match.

Brilliant sense of nerve and pleasure. Very deft touch of Oak lets the fruit shine. Feels like it should age well

Deovlet Zotovoch PN. Rescue wine after Christmas shopping. Smells like - good Cali pinot.. (TN of a century).
Ripe strawberry, black sweet cherry, cola, stroke of violet and mild spice. Ripe red berries, some stone bitterness, sleek tannins and medium acidity. Good balance. Some nuance, without great complexity. Medium long and balanced finish. Likeable, and good enough to save our Friday.

High acid seems a bit off balance from juicy yellow fruit. There’s a stony minerality and fresh herbaceousness which signals complexity, and maybe it would all knit together at some point…the finish is long and oak dominant, very pleasant vanilla bean/lemon curd notes.

Ruby color in the glass, doesn’t appear to have a ton of weight but that’s deceiving. This is a muscular Pinot full of cherry and gravel. It knit together very nicely with some air—open early if you can. Silky texture on the palate with fine, firm tannins. I have several more bottles and am excited to see how they evolve—I think time will be a friend to this wine.

En time i karaffel. Intens duft av sitrus, eple og streif av røyk, honning, skåldede mandler og noe tropisk frukt. Lukten kan minne om Coche-Dury. I munnen følger den opp med samme intensitet, sitrus, sitrondrops, fruktkaramell, smør og nøtter. Høy konsentrasjon, syre og viskositet. Lang smak. Balansert. Mer kraft enn eleganse, men en fantastisk vin.
Den koster en snau 500-lapp, men smaker som en 1500 kroners :)
