2/26/2013 - wine30flight Likes this wine: 84 pointsOne of my favorites, but we opened the bottle and it was awful at first. I give it a big bump thanks to its straightening itself out with some air and turning into the nice Tasmanian Pinot I have come to expect, but it was hit or miss at first. Later vintages certainly do not live up to their earlier counterparts, but I'd still pick up a few bottles. Perhaps I am just attached - but it remains a "comfort wine" of the last 5 years or so. |

Thankfully dries out somewhat in the palate and redeems a bit. A little tangy fruit presents but otherwise falls into the dry red mould. Pleasant however. |

Bright cherry and a nice red color to go with it. Needed to decant this one, so give it some time to open up. Actually improved when I went back for the second half of the bottle the next day. I still recommend it. |
