Pleasant, finely structured wine. Deeper ruby red than usual for a pinot. Hint of spice on nose. Light strawberry that builds to a nice finish of red berries and currents.

Salmon pink. Mild strawberrish aromas. Light-bodied dry crunchy palate. Soft cherry flavours precede a fairly short finish. Bit average.

One of my favorites, but we opened the bottle and it was awful at first. I give it a big bump thanks to its straightening itself out with some air and turning into the nice Tasmanian Pinot I have come to expect, but it was hit or miss at first. Later vintages certainly do not live up to their earlier counterparts, but I'd still pick up a few bottles. Perhaps I am just attached - but it remains a "comfort wine" of the last 5 years or so.

I think this is the entry level label for Frogmore Creek. Sweet dumb confectionary laden nose with ripe cherry fruits. Thankfully dries out somewhat in the palate and redeems a bit. A little tangy fruit presents but otherwise falls into the dry red mould. Pleasant however.

Recent vintages of this wine are not what it once was, but it's still one of my favorite pinots from one of my favorite pinot producing parts of the world. Bright cherry and a nice red color to go with it. Needed to decant this one, so give it some time to open up. Actually improved when I went back for the second half of the bottle the next day. I still recommend it.

There is a lot of irony here. This tastes nothing like an American Pinot. Nothing. But, it is a soft, feminine wine, which was really enjoyable. Nice surprise.

Transparent ruby color, nice floral nose. Medium-light body with cherries and soft tannins in the mouth. Great QPR. Would buy again.

Nose of fresh cherries, cotton candy, and blossoms. Good clarity, garnet in color with clear rim. Sour, tart flavors of cherries and ripe red fruits with hint of oak and slightly vegetal taste, in a good way. Decent, nicely balanced, but not outstanding.
