Once the bubbles and the structure settled after 2 hours in the glass.. it became less carbonated on the structure and more like a red wine juice. The finishing was light. |

4/15/2024 - grapenomad wrote: 79 pointsPopped and poured, the wine was refermenting in the bottle. I don't mind a little of fizz in a light red, but this literally exploding upon opening, leaving half the wine on the table cloth. Tasted the other half after 3 days, was ok, tasting like cranberry juice. Way overpriced and overhyped. |

4/13/2024 - DominikMueller Does not like this wine: NRGolden yellow colour tending towards old gold and orange. Cloudy. Unusual, intense odour. Not exactly flattering. Somewhat yellow-fruity, apple, mirabelle plum, but clearly on the crumbly side. Dried orange peel. Ginger. Unfortunately, horse stables and wet hay cover up the fruit, which is not fresh anyway. Even with air, this doesn't really go away. |

4/9/2024 - Ernestas Likes this wine: 91 pointsUnique natural Rose crafted in a similar vibe as my beloved Le Puy Rose Marie or Cornelissen’s Susucaru. Made by a cult natural wine estate located in a small village of Oggau. Farmed from field blend of red and white varietals, 2/3 direct pressed, 1/3 crushed and macerated, matured in large used oak barrels. Pale salmon color, purple hue. Medium+ intensity aroma, requires some time for funky barnyard balance out notes of candied cherries, strawberries, blood orange, undergrowth, herbs. Medium light body, juicy structure, medium+ intensity well integrated acidity, funky barnyardish red berry flavours, blood orange rind, pleasant touch of pink grapefruit bitterness and touch of tannic bite. |

4/6/2024 - Ernestas Likes this wine: 89 pointsMade by a cult natural wine estate located in a small village of Oggau. Each cuvee has its own iconic label designs of different faces representing the personality & terroir of each wine made, centered around the idea of a family of different generations. A blend of Zweigelt & Blaufränkisch, aged in various sized barrels on yeast for 12 months, no sulphur added, not fined or filtrated. Medium+ purple colour, violet hue. Medium+ intensity perfumed aroma of blueberries, violets, blackberries, lavender, hint of leather, barnyard and tar. Medium body, slightly frothy, full of vibrant and fresh black fruit flavours intermingled with animalistic barn notes, high but pleasantly soft acidity, low tannic structure. Very unique and undiscovered style. Will see how it will evolve in few more years. |

4/2/2024 - Ebrim Likes this wine: 94 pointsShort note - on the nose its like a high quality bordeaux, but lower alcohol and cooler climate, dark plums, cherries, sigar box and tobacco, medicinal, blueberries, crowberries, long finish, very well balanced, deep complexity, high concebtration, a bit volatile acidity that adds to the complexity, oustanding quality, 94p |

11/19/2023 - mks83 Likes this wine: 90 pointsColor of purple-ish dark pomegranate. The nose consists of liquor-soaked strawberries, pomegranate, and blood orange (plus minor reductive funk / pressed flower petal). In the mouth, the attack is sugar-soaked sour cherry (there is slight residual sugar), balanced by very high citrusy/edgy acidity that dominates the middle, finishes with notes and depth of cranberry juice and iron. Excellent energy and concentration - the wine seamlessly grows big in the mouth keeping the symmetrical round “shape”. |
