I'm not sure what wine certain tasters are tasting under this category, but I think there may be a mistake. This wine is like a Brouilly or Moulin à vent in terms of color and consistency; the flavors and aromas have become quite smooth at this point in the wine's age. Plum, black cherry, a hint of baking spices, all in a smooth presentation. |

Tart cherry and dark herbs with just a bit of fresh berry in the finish that (along with the lighter body) really keeps things pleasantly medium bodied. This has great promise but just missing a slight edge. Will try other examples and more from Hiller too. |
