3/2/2024 - wlsch Likes this wine: 91 pointsPnP. Nose is dark cherry, dark berry, pie spice from oak, a hint of vanilla. Palate is similar, but there's a bit of ripeness to the fruit which gives it a sense of fullness and body. Medium body, medium acidity, some slightly powdery tannins in the finish. A lot of richness and intensity. It's drinking well now, but it has good structure and I think this could improve with a couple of years of bottle age. Solid wine. Leans a bit riper than I normally like, but I love the intensity and depth. Drink now through 2028 and maybe longer. |

12/7/2023 - tbrader wrote: 84 pointsNose initially reminiscent of a dusty library. Light simple fruit, tart acidity on the finish. Earlier nuances of the nose and palate are largely gone now, and the fruit has thinned. There is still enough fruit to make this drinkable in some sense, but it is not very satisfying. |

11/29/2023 - sid_loves_wine Likes this wine: 92 pointsVery tasty, especially for $20 which is quite low now for the region. A little less complete than the last vintage I tried ('18) but still very present with bright raspberry, a touch of smoky, peppery herbs (not smoke taint, just a gentle nuance), and crisp, occasionally tart acidity. It's lifted and expressive, with a slight hardness to it that demands food. Definitely gets an extra point for value; it wouldn't do well against many $30 OR Pinots, but it does absolutely fine in its $20 range. Slightly more precise and focused than Broadley, in the same range; but also a bit tougher without a food pairing. |

5/14/2019 - jtsejersen@gmail.com wrote: 85 pointsGood glass of Pinot Noir from the cool and chilled hils of Oregon in USA. A substantially darker colored Pinot Noir aged 18 months in french oak. On the nose this Pinot has present notes of dark sweet fruit like plums and sour black cherries combined with notes of wood and vanilla. The oak is a bit too much for my liking. On the palate this wine has body and structure with good acidity. Present but not overwhelming tannins makes this wine pleasant to drink and would go great with food. |

9/5/2023 - Ben Christiansen wrote: NRJust a little bit of reductive showing through and then also a beautiful line of lemony fruit to it as well. This is the blend of the single vineyards, couldn't find it in CT. And nicely tropical on the palate. Roasted pineapple thing to it. The oak is there but nicely structured. |
