Bright acidity, full body, and fairly intense drying tannins that turn dusty. Richly concentrated flavors of salty plum, strawberry, and a little oregano with black cherry coming out on the finish. Young but balanced and pretty tasty, if a little too smoky on the nose. Could also stand to have just a little less residual sugar. Surprisingly long for the price! |

Rich and ripe on the palate with nice smooth balance, good length, med- tannin and a clean finish. Very pleasurable to drink, wife liked it. This producer seems to lean towards the ripe, fruit forward style. Drank next to their 2019 VNdM and a 2007 Sanguineto Riserva, both of which I'll write about separately. |

Good grip, good acid, medium tannins but not overwhelming. Red fruit. Juicy on the backend as well. Very nice with grilled steak, bread, tomato, roast vegetables. Minerality underneath. Best part is on the finish after the tartness passes. |
