Life ain’t all sweet, and the spice here is there to remind us of that. They compliment each other so well. If you like more of the spice of Cab Franc, hold off a few years. Got of contrast this with a 2013 Franc, which brings the spice right out of the gate. Sometimes Bill would get more salty than sweet with his comedy, the “213 is his salt, the 2021 is his sweet. Both are two of the best Cab Francs I have had, put them up there with Tagaris Winery cab francs. |

The components are there for a excellent wine, with evolving balance in fruit, acidity and finish. Probably will benefit from another couple of years in the cellar. |
