Very complex and interesting.... Nose: Apple cider and raisins. Notes of cherry, dark chocolate early, with tobacco on the mid palette and finished with orange and cranberry. Great wine. I wish I had more of this vintage. I just purchased 2 of the 2006, so I will have to wait and see if it is similar.

Tart and uninviting. Opened up a bit the next night, but still not a very good wine even at the sale price.

Mild Cherries to start with a cranberry flourish of tartness and very mellow tannins. Good easy to drink wine with a great QPR.

Pleasant wine.... Had this next to Guenoc's 2003 Petite Syrah. This wine had aromas of cherries and alcohol, the first blast of flavor was boysenberry and spice (cloves?) and was well balanced on the finish with a cranberry tartness. If we have a choice with the Cline and Guenoc side by side.... we would choose the Guenoc.

Nose of vanilla strawberry, bold fruit start and finishes with a nice dose of tannins. More expensive than it should be, we like other less expensive Shiraz better.... like Lodge Hill.

Nose of strawberry-rhubarb jam. Good bottle of Pinot, we had it very slightly chilled the first night and it seemed to bring out the flavors.

This is a okay Ausy blend. Not as much fruit as we expected. Had a slight citrus tartness at the start and finish that seemed to hide the fruit. Mellow tannins and overall a decent wine. Besides I love the sharks on the bottle!!

Had this with our lasagna dinner. Matched well with dinner, should have listened to the everybody about the decanting. It was slightly vinegary at the start, but after a while in the glass it mellowed and had a nice fruit flavor. Short finish. We would drink it again.
