Very nice my first Montelena. Deep purple full of fruit and tannins that seem to melt in your mouth as the finish lingers. I will definitely be drinking more Montelena.

I just can not get enough of this wine. Full bodied silky smooth perfection. The finish reminds me of chocolate melting in my mouth it goes on forever it seems. It was my epiphany wine prior to this I didn't understand what it meant to drink fine wine. I'm still drinking it and will drink it as long as I can find it.

Very bitter on first sip, needs some decanting, ruby with browning on the edges, a little blackcurrant and cherry but not a lot of fruit more leather, tobacco and woody tastes, medium bodied and very little finish. It was ok went well with dinner I've had better Bordeaux's.

Smooth no tannins, supple, garnet in color, earthy, wood smells/tastes, tasted/smelled fruity at first but that has all but gone away, long silky finish, elegant very nice, a neophyte but still from what I've learned I'd say this wine is ready to drink now
