2015 Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir Santa Barbara Countymore |
7/5/2018 - dededee Likes this wine: NRUsually I give my pinots 30 min in the decanter, but this wine I had to start drinking right away. Initial notes of ass, or at least sewer. Not in a negative way. Very interesting. However, it blew off after the first glass and transitioned to barnyard and rusticity. Became better and better with more air. |

2012 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon Calistogamore |
12/9/2017 - dededee wrote: NRMotherfucker's still very tannic and acidic. No smoothness what so ever about this. I will wait until the next bottle is 10 years before trying this again. Maybe then it'll be worth the price. Because right now, it is't. |

2013 Barra of Mendocino Cabernet SauvignonMendocino County more |
10/15/2017 - dededee Likes this wine: NRSmooth as fuck. Still good cabernet fruit. Drinking in it's prime right now, compared to other bottles previously tasted. |

2015 Bonterra Vineyards ChardonnayMendocino County more |
2/18/2017 - dededee Likes this wine: NRMotherfuck this is an excellent bottle. The best vintage of Bonterra chardonnay in recent years. Not overly oaked. Perfect malo for a nice and very enjoyable smooth, non-tart zing on the palate. |
