Would treat like a mid-priced Napa Cab as far as food pairing. Definitely benefited from some decanting, I could tell a difference straight out of the bottle vs. the decanter for about 30 minutes. Could be interesting if left alone a while longer. |

A delicious Grenache rose in the style of a Tavel. Beautiful color and nose of red fruits. Nice crisp acidity. Loved it. I also enjoyed meeting one of the winemakers, Meghan Ball, when she came to talk about Linne Calodo at Chain Bridge Cellars. |

I aerated it as a I poured and then as it sat in the glass, the fruit characteristic showed a lot more and it tasted more balanced. I would say definitely decant or let sit open in the glass for a little while. |

Very light on the palette and refreshing with just a hint of effervescence. Nice on it's own but a little better with food. Not a real dominant fruit flavor but nice acidity and a little minerality. |
