There are no tasting notes aside from an initial promise of tangy (not sweet) pomegranate that faded almost as quickly as it was perceived. It was smooth but without character and in the same way purified water is smooth. OTOH my friend truly enjoyed it and she prefers whites and rosés. |

I was doing a little housekeeping in my wine collection and came across this bottle last night and I just had to drink a glass! I was also torn because I did want to let it sit a few more years however I was not disappointed. My first glass was aerated and enjoyed with cheesecake with a touch of chocolate, well the first half of the glass, the rest I enjoyed on its own. |

After the first step my friend declared this was the best wine she had ever tasted and continued saying it periodically until the bottle was finished! I do have one stashed back, wish I had a case. This wine is exceptional. Smooth from start to finish, fills the palate with berries, dark cherries and a bit more than a hint of chocolate - just a taste of pepper to add to the complexity. The finish is not long and lingering but moderate and delicious leaving you begging for more. |

Please, please, work your magic and make more! Doesn’t need decanting or poured through an aerator - it’s absolutely delicious. I did open the bottle and let it air while I cooked an Italian faux rice with stir fried veggies and topped with Sugo. Went great with it but the real treat was just sitting back with a glass all on its own. This medium body elixir is smooth from start to finish, it is the color of deep dark cherries, begins with rich dark fruits then actually packs a whollop of cherries mid palate, a little chocolate with a hint of pepper and cherry on the finish. Outstanding! Thank you. |
