3/19/2024 - Jersey Boozer wrote: 93 pointsI’ve been making my way through a case of 12 and every bottle seems to get better. Lots of blackcurrant and the tannins melted in, perfect claret. Decanted 2 hours in advance, lovely with charcuterie. Don’t write off years like 2004. 5 people found this helpful, do you? Yes - No / Comments (2) |

11/18/2023 - Jersey Boozer Likes this wine: 92 pointsHad a case of 12, 6 left now, wish I had waited. In a great place, forget the idea that 2004 was a poor year, just choose the right chateau and wait! Cant see this getting better but will stay at this level for, I guess, 8 years. Just what claret is supposed to be. |

4/21/2023 - Jersey Boozer Likes this wine: 94 pointsThought I would try this in London restaurant (Lexington Street) and very pleased did so. Lovely wine, deep powerful red, just the kind of burgundy I like. I have 12 of the 2019 and looking forward to time passing. The 2012 has plenty of life left in it. (Wife loved this wine as well). |
