This is a good variety for Lodi, very full color and body, soft and lush in the mouth with some acidity, with a nice linger. Recommend

The winery also used part of this vineyard this for a GMA blend with Grenache and Mourvedre which I tasted and also liked.

Delicious GMA blend of 33% Grenache, 33% Monverdre, and 34% Alicante Bouschet. Proprietor's Reserve.
The profile is unique and full of flavor. There are notes of dark berry fruits, tobacco, and toasted spices. It's difficult to pinpoint the various flavors. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture, medium acidity and a long finish.
It's very good. I've been trying some every evening for three nights using my Corovin.

Very drinkable, not overly sweet or overly hot/alcoholic as many Zinfandels can be. Good depth of color, slight cherry nose, mildly spicy and jammy the mouth, it was in balance with the tannin structure. Very agreeable.

This is an interesting one. The wine goes well with food - and can handle beef stir fry and pork fried rice. The fruit is slight melon, and the oak is obvious.
Oddly, without food, it's not offensive, but there's also very little flavor. Its neutrality is what helps it blend with a wide variety of meal items, and while refreshing on its own, it won't stand out for aroma or taste.

Very average. Complexity is gone if it was ever there. Nice Lodi fruit, balance is fine, short finish. Not bad, just kind of unremarkable.
