New vintage of this for me....
Not unlike the 2019, sampled a few months back, with slight variations.....
On nose: cat's pee and asparagus, but not overbearing.
On palate: above notes falling into line, aided by lemon peel, chives, a ghost of jalapeno pepper, delivered on a well balanced, slightly acidic profile....good shellfish wine.

A Southern hemisphere New World SB.
On nose: herbs and bell pepper.
On palate: above notes well represented, with a ghost of jalapeno chiming in, in addition to bright lemon peel, guava fruit, faint asparagus.....as it warms up, lime zest and fresh chives, are displayed on a fresh acidic body .
A great shellfish wine, drinking well over the next 5 years....but not beyond.

Very attractive SB with green apple and tropical fruits. It has freshness and complexity but avoids the over-emphasised acidity and gooseberry flavours of some SBs. Quite soft and ‘together’. Apparently this comes from a specific block at La Escultara Estate in the Aconcagua Valley (it is perhaps worth checking the label carefully in view of the range of variations available from Errazuriz).
It was commended in the IWSC awards 2022.

Intense aromatics leap out of the glass - melon, pineapple, ripe peach, plum (the nose is a bit like Umeshu!). It’s pretty voluptuous and a little unwieldy. There is so much ripe fruit and not quite enough freshness for my taste, so it’s a question of what style of SB you’re after. Very good value though.

Matched well with chicken pesto pasta, smooth. After the pasta, on its own, seemed a little acidic.

Way too herbaceous for a Sauvignon blanc. Like chewing on grass. I appreciate the old world style made in the mew world but definitely not a go-to.

Digeste et bien fait, bel équilibre de fruits croquants, acidité bien balancée et une finale qui tapisse bien le palais. Vraiment bon RQP.

Highly aromatic, bright, and pungent with herbally, cat pee, and gooseberry aromas, along with hints of tropical fruit and melon. It's medium-bodied and fleshy on the palate with nice replays and bright acids. Touch warm on the long finish.

Fragrant, ripe nose of guava, kiwi, tropical fruit, and passion fruit aromas with some grassy, green, and herbal characters. It's medium+ bodied with good fruit concentration on the palate, lifted by vibrant, lively acids and pleasing aroma replays on the flavour profile. Some saline notes arrive on the mid-palate and continue through to the long, crisp, and juicy finish.

Siehe letzte Notiz. Finde den Wein frisch geöffnet extrem bitter-phenolisch-pflanzlich. Hätte das unter sehr grüner Beere mit Stengeln einsortiert, der Tip „Brennessel“ trifft’s aber auch gut. Mit Luft kommt dann schon auch nicht Litschi und Mango. Dazu sehr breit, sehr alkoholisch, wirkt nicht ganz trocken. Null mein Ding. Sorry!

Am ersten Tag in der Nase sehr viel tropische Frucht, Stachelbeere/Cassis, Gras, Zitrus. Am Gaumen sehr kräftig, etwas breit. Dafür dann aber mit schön eingebundener Säure und einer fast scharfen Würze. Klasse Länge. Wäre hier bei 90 gewesen.

Am zweiten Tag leider stark auseinander gegangen. Säure steht eher daneben und es gibt mehr Paprika und eine unangenehme Beinote.

Very pale yellow. Immediate aroma of lime, tropical fruit, and minerality. Not much fruit in the taste but great clean mineral taste with medium and lingering acidity. Excellent aperitif. Did not pair super well with cream of broccoli soup.

Guava, citrus faint green pepper on the nose. Nice weight, medium acidity very appealing mineral notes with exotic flavours. Medium finish. Very pleasant wine

Fragrant and ripe with kiwi, melon, and asparagus aromas. On the medium+ bodied palate it has clean acids with a nice mineral texture and more kiwi, melon and asparagus flavours. The finish turns green and grassy with very good length.

Assez vif et preque pas de poivrons verts ou d'asperge.

Absolutely lovely! A veritable fruit bowl of pineapple, guava, citrus peels, and melon, which are present in the aromas and the taste. Medium-full bodied and medium finish of tropical fruits with lasting acidity. Will pair well with shellfish.

less fruity than the 2016 MAX SB., definitely, more mineral., but still guava to the palate, not nearly as pronounced. some spice aromas here, but more modest. doesn't get distinctly green pepper, but there's a touch.

Excellent, expressive SB nose. Ripe gooseberry (fruit and leaf), asparagus, perhaps a trace of 'farmyard' (not a criticism). The wine softened in the glass and showed more tropical than 'grassy' characteristics. This wine is as as good as any New World SB I have tasted. 91 at least.
