Light-to-medium bodied, typical CdP characters, not very complex but still quite good. Not powerful but elegant. In peak drinking window now. Probably won't get better with further storage. |

This was a very concentrated blueberry bomb. We hoped that some of this would mellow out over some time in the glass, but it never did. While the wine is enjoyable enough, it is very specific, and not what I would expect from a CdP. It's interesting too, because I love their Cotes du Rhone, which is extremely earthy. So it seems wierd that two wines from the same producer would be such polar opposites stylistically. |
