12/28/2022 - devraj Likes this wine: 91 pointsGolden amber in color. Soaring aromas of almond skin, quince paste, orange citrus, spice. Lush and rich on the palate showing honeyed apples/pears, medium acidity and a long spicy and honeyed finish. |

2/17/2014 - Tim Heaton Likes this wine: NR{375ml} Dark gold toward amber, with tea, caramel, quince, allspice and honey aromas. Full-bodied though far from cloying thanks to plentiful acids. More than simple, but short of great. Lingers, with almond oil, tea and white floral notes that add interest. Begs for the proper cheese course. |

Yummy! Creme brulee too? W/chocolate pudding--soooo good; and buttermilk-berry thing very very good. Gregg/Conrad and spouses. |

The palate was fresher than the nose would suggest with a nice streak of minerals coarsing below the hazelnut, almond skin, and fire-roasted fruit tones. |

Focused acidity keeps all of the richness and weight in check keeping it from being to cloying, but rather clean and crisp. Should drink well for several more years. |
