This was the last (bonus) bottle after a vertical tasting with dinner. The bottle had been stored for a long time in "suspect" conditions so there was no great hope this was not vinegar.
Cork was wet and in better shape than expected. After 1 hour of decanting we served the wine. It was quite drinkable, old with flat notes but we could taste some fruit but tannin was gone.
For a 60+ year old wine it was an tasting of a lifetime
The wine was judged to be in decline so if you have one think about consuming it now.
