The nose was pure apple pie with cloves and nutmeg. When we tasted the wine it exploded with flavors of Granny Smith apples, apple pie, spices and a touch of smoke. The wine was sweet as expected but its great attribute is that it retained a level of acidity that kept it well balanced. No flabbiness for this wine. Delicious. Definitely worth buying and holding. |
