Richer than anticipated but with good balance and length with soft acidity and subtle salinity. It did not have the ‘bite’ that I associate with Picpoul and was not as dry as I expected. However, it was very good with fish (pan-fried Halibut) and attractive on its own - a nice apertif. A restaurant buy and a pleasant surprise. 88-89 |
