7/6/2020 - LIWines Likes this wine: 88 pointsTastier and more complex than my previous note. Perhaps an additional 2 years in the bottle was needed. Some vegetal qualities (green bell pepper, eggplant) complements the cherry and vanilla. Herbs on the palate (dill, oregano). A little eucalyptus. Nows the time to uncork if youve got one. |

5/21/2019 - Stephen.Somm wrote: 87 pointsPale ruby color. Lush aromas of dark cherries, forest floor, and light spices. The wine is medium bodied and smooth, with dark cherries and plums on the palate. Tannins are low, alcohol is medium+, acidity is medium. Decent QPR at $13 from Last Bottle. |

2/11/2017 - sj888 Likes this wine: 88 pointsSurprised some didn't care for this, though I will say when I opened it up it really was a little odd before it opened up. Maybe a little short on finish but very drinkable and a great wine for the price point, at least today! The cedar and cherry is still there, it's a drink now for me. |

1/23/2016 - NapaTom Likes this wine: 88 pointsseemed better this time. Lots of bouquet. Mid body. Darker fruit than I remember in the last bottle--I was thinking the last one was light cherry. This is dark cherry and maybe some other dark fruit. |

1/5/2016 - NapaTom Likes this wine: 87 pointsalmost as before. good sipping pinot or with salmon etc better cold, which seemed to bring out the nice acidity and tartness that I like in a pinot. At cellar temp it lacked to lack the crispness and tartness. But very good after an hour it he fridge. Even seemed better the next day, from the fridge. Maybe should be opened early? |

10/22/2015 - NapaTom Likes this wine: 89 pointsI gave it an 89, even though the cherry flavors were a little lighter than I usually like (I like dark cherry and fruits). It has a LOT of fruit and is nicely tart (I like tart and dislike any sweetness in my pinots). I gave it an 87 the first day -- I opened it pretty much right out of my 60 degree cellar. It was considerably better the second day, and after being chilled some. Next time try 2 hours open and in fridge for 1 hour. No hurry to drink--it is full of fruit. Finish is short but right on for a tart pinot. |
