It’s different and I guess there’s some Chardonnay character in there. I don’t know, perhaps it’s a aquired taste but I thought it was pretty unpleasant. |

The nose is inviting, smelling of stewed strawberries, plums, mulling spices, and forest floor. On the palate the fruit is very forward, with strawberry and blackberry, and a medium body. The tannins are quite grippy though, more powerful than the acidity, so the balance could be better. All in all, pretty good. |

Notes of red berries, dried flowers and herbs, minerality. As the bottle opens up, the fruit changes to darker fruit and earthy notes of herbs and licorice come in but acidity is retained. Great for a casual sipper or with a lighter meal. |
