Not over-the-top and syrupy like the very few Zins I have had. Alcohol level was listed at 15.9% and the wine showed absolutely no heat at all. A real pleasure to drink. |

In the glass, aroma was extremely similar to wintergreen skoal and/or a dip cup. Taste did not deviate. Drank over the course of about 3 hours and nothing really changed. Giving this the benefit of the doubt though as the wine was just way too young. May evolve into something quite different in a couple of years. As of now, 85 pts...my friend's bbq that accompanied the wine...100 pts. |
