Precise, dense fruit. Pronounced tertiary flavors. Fine well resolved tannin. Drinking great now but can also go a lot longer. 100% Grenache / Whole cluster / Demi-Muid + concrete.

Elegant and complex with a touch of funk. Some reductive characteristics at first but quickly blew off.
Fruit, spice, and wood are all well balanced on both nose and palate. Barrel characteristics are particularly well executed although a slight green / stem note is a minor drawback for this style. Attractive tertiary characteristics are starting to emerge and the tannin is almost perfectly integrated. The medium body and bright acidity create a welcome deftness although it may be teetering on the edge of decline. Intensity and length are still good. Drink now or within the next few years.

Phenomenal. From a 375 and still very young. Decant for 2 hours minimum; ideally several more. Stunning elegance, intensity, structure, and balance.

Dead. Primary fruit flavours have dissipated entirely, with almost no secondary or tertiary notes making a mark either. Tannins remain granular and unresolved. The whole wine seemed totally out of sync, and not even a shadow of its youth.

Drinking incredibly well right now. Dark fruit focus with balanced spice and robust, well integrated tannin. Huge transformation from the relative mediocrity it displayed in the tasting room 3 years ago!

This is a good quality Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. It is well balanced, with good intensity and complexity largely derived from its developing characteristics. However, acidity is relatively low, tannins remain relatively coarse and length of flavor is beginning to flail already. Drink within the next year. For best results it is vital to decant for at least an hour and preferably serve with a robust meat course.
