Winery notes on the 2005 Terry Hoage Vineyards The Pick: Our Cuvee is a blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 17% Mourvedre and 8% Counoise. This wine was born with the idea of not losing the fresh ripe strawberry of the single barrel of Counoise we possessed. The Pick displays a lighter personality than our other two Syrah driven wines. Though this wine is lighter in body, it still encompasses a lovely mouth feel and displays lively red fruit, earth and truffle. 75% Neutral barrels and 25% new French oak. 275 cases produced.
