December 27, 2012 - Guessing that these have another year left in them, then a slow decline. If held on the tongue a little, it shows a completely different profile (much better) revealing a layer of depth and finish that could otherwise go unnoticed in its ""old" age.

November 30, 2012 - Dark cherry and bright acid on the nose. Nice fruit with cherry/ raspberry leading the way with very nice acid backbone. Tannin are rounded. Medium finish. Great with duck confit and loin of rabbit at Marsche Moderne--a fantastic restaurant in Costa Mesa CA. I will buy more of his wine.

August 31, 2012 - I respectfully disagree with the last taster's notes (and the community window) regarding drinking window - this wine has several peak years remaining! Very CdP-like in structure and aroma - the tannins have soften, but are still clearly evident, and a nose of licorice, strawberry & raspberry preserves and provencial herbs jumps from the glass. The fruit has started to mature, but vivid and deep berry notes remain. I'm very impressed with this wine and essentially stole it for the $12 pricetag I paid. Another stunning deal from PA's serious wine sale...

December 18, 2011 - Black fruit on the nose. Mature and more subdued than when younger. Some lavender and graphite in the taste. With a clean saline finish. Starting to thin out so probably time to drink up. But a nice wine.

November 28, 2010 - Rich and delicious with BBQ steak. Good value. Drinking well, or could last a few more years.
