October 12, 2023 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of mushroom, toast, red fruit. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin. Long finish. Previously had 3 bottles in 2021 and 2022, now the fourth bottle, finally I feel it have enter its drinking window, will get better with time.

Trapet is right there and still a much much better value than Rousseau. At least for the moment till others get more excited about Trapet. I also love Mugneret Gibourg. Richer style but extremely pure & balanced is Mugeret Gibourg's Clos des Ruchottes and their entire lineup.
Fun to ponder and even more fun to drink!
Cheers

I can't really answer your question as I've had a only a couple Rossignol but I believe J&L has the better reputation. That said, I'm drinking a 05 RT Chambertin next week and will have a fresh data point to share then.
