  January 6, 2024 - Deep, complex, spicy, sweet Châteauneuf-du-Pape aroma. Dark fruits, graphite, chocolate, licorice. just the faintest hint of barnyard/leather. The fruit is mostly stewed with an herbal aftertaste (mint?). Intense dark fruit flavors. Velvety smooth but a little hot on the finish.
  
  Showing signs of maturity now but no rush. Delicious. Requires a 1-2 hour decant.
