  April 28, 2006 - Dark purple. Tannins were huge upon opening, however, after 2 hours of decanting they blended in enough not to provide too much of a distraction. Early taste of blueberry turned darker after time in the glass, burnt bitter mocha framed the fruit. Long finish that faded with heat. I will wait on my next bottle for a minimum of two years
