November 25, 2010 - Cheesy on the nose for the first hour, blew off to reveal notes of cherry, blueberry, slate, Burgundy nose with lifted oak overtones.
Palate was spot on for this wine, pretty cherry, one dimensional, straightforward, also in tune for this wine.
Pretty, straightforward overall good but nothing ground shaking. The crappy part is this wine cost me around $60 each and I know of many that have paid more than I did. You can get any new world Pinot for half this price if not less than that and it would rival this.
Again, solid wine but also not worth the mark-up to drink Burgundy.3,567 views
