  July 31, 2006 - Very concentrated. Entrancing nose. There's licorice and lilac with some really deep hints of road tar and cedar. Initially rather stiff on the palate, opened out beautifully after a day in the decanter. This really needed to warm up from the cellar before it gave it's best. Nice Brunello at $59, but I might have been expecting too much as I felt a bit disappointed.
