  February 24, 2012 - Lovely pale tawny color; lots of red fruits, cherry, leather, gamey, licorice; palate shows initial burst of great acidity, strong tannic structure in the midpalate, leathery texture with plenty of juicy fruit, pepper; finish is balanced, light licorice, medium length. This was imported by Adventures in wine and is showing well, so I don't think the importer had any problems here. Perhaps the other taster got a batch of cooked bottles? This is lovely and showing youthful to mid-maturity. Perfect to drink now but I expect this will last a few years. 90-91
