  October 30, 2012 - Round, massive and creamy nose showing signs of age. These primary tones are adjoined by secondary bacon fat and subtle prunes. The palate is restrained with an abundance of tannins and makes a rather diversified impression. The nose is showing signs of age, while the palate is still youthful. The wine is a little dry on the finish and the whole experience ends a bit abruptly. This makes me question whether aging will do this effort any justice. Perhaps it will, but do not store caseloads of this effort. (score is 94-95)
