  March 3, 2013 - Decanted and drank some over 4 or 5 hours, rebottled and recorked overnight. TN is on the wine the next morning. Labeled at 13% ABV
  
  Deep red. Hints of flowers, vanilla cream under plums, garrigue, cherry, bloody meat, bacon fat, dust. A bit of pepper in the palate with plums, cherry, meat, crushed rocks, orange peel. Nice pop of acid at the end. Very fine tannins. Very good bottle, with many elements that I really enjoy, but it leaves me wanting something more...
  
  Leave it alone for a while, or give it a longer decant.
