May 6, 2007 - Pale straw. The theme here seems to be limes: on the nose, one gets elegant, floral citrus aromas, hints of vanilla and minerals. Currently rather tight but promising: medium bodied with razor-sharp focus. Ripe fruit again tending towards limes, stony minerals, long (almost endless) finish with superb balance and acidity. Really a lovely chablis and in a more traditional style than, say, the 2002s. Could hold a wine like this for quite a while. I would start drinking it a year or more from now at the earliest.
