  January 19, 2014 - Deep, rich purple color. Vibrant on nose with hints of vanilla, licorice and spice. Some earth, ashy notes. Tart tannins, but not overpowering. Some nice dryness on tongue, but finish is silk. Really nice suprise for price point. Try next bottle in a few years.
