  February 19, 2014 - very different than when I first had this wine. Very strong initial taste of raisins, dried currants. Almost like an amarone. But this develops out after a while and becomes a bit more subdued. Drinking pretty well, but I think I would drink this up in the next year or so (and I have a fair amount to drink!). I would say this is very good, but I do not score it as high as some others. This might be bottle variation, though this bottle was not noticeably bad and has been stored in cellar conditions for the last decade or more.
