  April 2, 2014 - I found this wine bizarre. One professional reviewer mentioned chicken broth. One reviewer here mentions fennel and spring onion. I agree with all of that. And I would add: bitter almonds. This is one of the most bitter wines I've ever tasted.
  
  I found this combination unpleasant. Interesting, but unpleasant. So much so that I would think my bottle is flawed but for the tasting notes of others. This tastes nothing like any sauvignon blanc I have ever tasted.
  
  Thus, I must respectfully dissent from the high reviews.
