  December 10, 2014 - Opaque with ruby red rim; savory on the nose (coffee, licorice) and some nutty characteristics; on the palate, bright acidity packed with a fruity punch, low-medium tannins; tart and lingering finish. Though for a rioja reserva, this was pretty average, it paired wonderfully with braised short ribs.
