January 1, 2015 - Not decanted, slow-oxygenated overnight in the bottle & consumed over 1+ hours with dinner. Fairly restrained for the first hour in glass, but really not too bad for such a young Barolo. Over time, dusty cherry fruit came out to balance the taut acidity and relatively mild tannins. Just a little bit of something in the ash/tar/dried herbs family. Not a ton of depth, but not a bad little Barolo for $20 (last bottle on close-out at Costco). 88-89ish, admitting that I have a predilection to be generous to any competently made nebbiolo.
